While "The Osbournes" ratings might be slipping,
Ozzy Osbourne's metal bonanza known as Ozzfest shows no signs of slowing
down as the day-long festival played to a near capacity,
devil-horn-pumping crowd Wednesday night at Cricket Pavilion.
Ozzy loyalists as well as more mainstream rock lovers paid top dollar
for their chance to see the "Prince of Darkness" along with a stellar
collection of acts including Marilyn Manson, Korn, Disturbed and Chevelle.
Not surprisingly, shock rocker Marilyn Manson's set was the most elaborate
of the night. Manson who is known for his dark and daring theatrical
performances, didn't disappoint fans and gawkers alike with his disturbing
blend of eye candy which included a mammoth-sized blowup Manson head
complete with Mickey Mouse ears, two erotic dancers and contrasting
white make-up and black outfits.
Manson pranced and posed his way around the stage as he performed his new
and old angst-ridden anthems included "Beautiful People," "mObscene"
and "The Dope Show."

「The Osbournes」的聲勢也許下滑，但是 Ozzfest 在 Cricket Pavilion 對著
幾乎爆滿的觀眾演出時，Ozzy Osbourne 這座金屬富礦絲毫沒有衰退的跡象。
Ozzy 的忠實支持者，和越來越多的主流搖滾迷，願意以高額一睹「黑暗王子」
和出場表演的群星，包括 Marilyn Manson、Korn、Disturbed、Chevelle。
那天晚上最精心製作的布景，不意外地，來自震驚搖滾樂手 (shock rocker)
Marilyn Manson。他出了名黑暗大膽而戲劇化的表演風格沒有讓歌迷和目瞪口呆
