Fergie: Title Not Over Yet 21/2/04 2:41 PM Sir Alex Ferguson spoke to the press after Saturday's draw with Leeds. The Reds boss still believes United can win the title, but says it's a big ask. This is what the boss had to say... Not Taking Chances 沒有把握機會 "There were a few chances we should have buried. There were good bits of play but we looked off-colour. We had twelve away on international duty and that takes its toll." Disappointing Performance 表現令人失望 "We had chances to win the match but it was a disappointing performance. I think they looked a bit off colour, not sharp and bright and the pitch wasn't a delight, but that was the same for both teams so it's not an excuse. Throwing Away The Lead 沒能夠保守住一球領先的勢頭 "We got into a lead, and at that point you should consolidate but we only kept the lead for three minutes - that is not good enough." Couldn't Find Elusive Winner 找不到致勝的關鍵球 "You always think the thing about our team is that they can always conjure something up in the last few minutes. It wasn't to be. Every ball seemed to hit the back of Matteo's head and that was annoying." Leeds Deserved A Point 平局是Leeds應得的結果 "I think Leeds deserved a point because they worked hard - Alan Smith did a great job, sometimes on his own, they counter-attacked well and had good pace on the right-hand side. We committed ourselves forward and you are always susceptible to the counter-attack." Title Now A Tough Task 奪冠的路異常艱難 "[In terms of the title] It's a big mountain to climb now. It is achievable. It's amazing what this team can do when they get into their stride, we just need to get into our stride. I think this is as big a mountain as we have ever hand to climb though, it is a big one." Losing Mikael In The First Half Mikael受傷 "Mikael has a twisted ankle and a twisted knee in a tackle just before half time. It was a big blow really, I didn't want to lose him."
