判」，但在經過長達幾個月的談判後，曼聯最終還是在2007年7月1日正式從拜仁慕尼黑
手上簽下哈格裡夫斯。
在加拿大出生，近年入選英格蘭國家隊，憑借出色表現迅速打響名堂的哈格裡夫斯
在2006年到2007年間，身價暴漲，在2006年世界盃期間，有報紙稱「哈格裡夫斯的身價
約為700萬英鎊」，並暗示弗格森已出價，但現在，哈格裡夫斯的轉會費已高達1,700萬
英鎊，成為歐洲球壇其中一名身價最高的防守中場球員。
