Foster visits specialist

United have confirmed that goalkeeper Ben Foster has visited a specialist
in order to get to the bottom of a complaint in his right knee.
After two seasons on loan at Watford, the 24-year-old has been recalled to
Old Trafford ahead of the new campaign and was expected to challenge for
the number one spot.
However, having been forced to withdraw from the England 'B' squad that
defeated Albania last week after suffering a recurrence of the pain in
the same knee that has troubled him in recent months.
"Ben has seen a specialist and they are investigating an existing knee
problem," a club spokesperson told ManUtd.com.
The England international joined United from Stoke City in July 2005.
Although he has played for the Reds during pre-season friendly matches,
he is yet to make his competitive debut for United.
