魯尼願與曼聯延長合同 效仿吉格斯欲終老曼聯

魯尼已經成名很久，但這位英格蘭國家隊目前的頭號球星其實只有20歲，不過，年
輕的魯尼已經打算沿著老大哥吉格斯和加裡-內維爾的腳步，效忠曼聯，他希望在老特拉
福德效力「與他們一樣久」。
魯尼是在2004年夏天加盟曼聯的，雖然他的合同還有四年才到期，但現在他提前表
示，願意與曼聯延長合同。在接受《星期日鏡報》採訪時，魯尼表示：「人們都說我可
以從現在開始挑選俱樂部，但曼聯是我希望呆的地方。我希望延長與曼聯的合同，我不
想去其他任何地方。」
一度有消息稱皇馬想要買魯尼，但後者卻表達了自己效忠紅魔的渴望：「當我看到
像加裡-內維爾和吉格斯他們的時候，我也想和他們一樣在這裡效力那麼長時間。這是一
家大俱樂部，我認識的人中，沒有人會主動希望離開這裡。」

WAYNE ROONEY has revealed he is ready to commit himself to Manchester United
for the rest of his career.
The England striker is only two seasons into the six-year contract he signed
when he joined United from Everton for ￡27million
But in an interview with Sunday Mirror Sport, Rooney admitted he cannot
contemplate life away from Old Trafford - and wants to extend his current
deal.
Rooney said: "People say I could now have my pick of clubs, but this is
where I want to be. In fact, I want to extend my contract at Manchester
United. I don't want to go anywhere else.
"I look at people like Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville and I want to be here
as long as they have.
"This is a big club and no one I know ever wants to leave."
Rooney's words will give everyone at United the perfect pre-season lift as
he looks to forget his World Cup disappointment by bringing the glory days
back to Old Trafford. Rooney has only a League Cup medal to show for two
years at United, but he insists that there is no club in the world that
could tempt him to leave.
He added: "I don't have any regrets whatsoever about joining Manchester
United.
"I came here because when I was growing up they were the team that won
everything and I believe I can achieve what I want to achieve here.
"There is something that is very special about Manchester United and I
want to be part of it for as long as I can."

罰是停賽三場，和他一起面臨處罰危險的還有斯科爾斯。如果兩人被禁賽，曼聯將與上

「我們還有兩個星期時間，我們希望他們都能康復。」一直祈禱球員遠離傷病的弗格
森無奈地說。
