"I've always been a huge United fan, but I've only been to Old Trafford a
handful of times in my life so to have the chance to play on the hallowed
turf is going to be amazing.

"It's going to be a dream weekend for me and Shane - we play to 84,000
people at Croke Park in Dublin on Saturday night before flying to Manchester
and playing at Old Trafford – it doesn't get any better than that.

"I had a dream the other night that I scored. I know it's a team game and
the most important thing is we - the Rest of the World - win the game, but if
I was to score on Sunday that would be it for me – I can die a very happy
man!"


Shane Filan

"To play at Old Trafford will be unbelievable – a real once in a lifetime
experience. As Nicky says we play Croke Park on Saturday night, but I’m more
excited about Soccer Aid to be honest!

"To be playing alongside someone like Ryan Giggs will be amazing. I've looked
up to him all my life and when I was younger my friends actually nicknamed me
Giggsy because I was pretty quick and always like to run with the ball.
Hopefully I can do a bit of that at Old Trafford.

"Me and Nicky have been practising together quite a bit of tour - the plan is
for him to float some nice long balls over the top for me to run onto -
hopefully there will be a couple of goals involving a Westlife one-two!"
