Ruud Aims For 149 And 150 At Anfield
Ruud van Nistelrooy is two goals short of becoming only the seventh United
player to reach 150 goals for the club - and he wants to achieve it against
Liverpool on Saturday.
The Dutchman takes great pride in his goalscoring record for the club,
and he recognises the significance reaching the total with a double
strike at Anfield would have, even more so as a place in the FA Cup
quarter finals is at stake.
"It is a target I would love to achieve and to score two goals against
Liverpool would be fantastic," said Ruud.
Van Nistelrooy will join an elite list of United goalscoring luminaries.

Ruud is currently eighth in United's all-time list of goalscorers.
However, the 29-year-old striker will not be distracted by his own
personal achievements in an important week for the club.
"Right now we want to have a good week of preparation and go to Anfield
full of confidence, as we always do, with a real will to win."
It is a crucial seven days for the Reds with the Carling Cup final
against Wigan the following weekend. And van Nistelrooy is expecting
a difficult task.
"With the Liverpool game and then the Carling Cup final against Wigan,
we have two massive games coming up," he said.
"Against Liverpool we will need to play well for the entire 90 minutes.
Our performance cannot drop."
