Ruud Pledges His Future To United
Ruud van Nistelrooy has reiterated his desire to stay at Manchester United.
The Dutch striker spent most of the summer being linked with a move abroad,
but he told MUTV that he plans to stay at Old Trafford for as long as he can.
Ruud said: "The biggest goal I have is to stay at Manchester United
as long as I possibly can.
"I want to remain at this level and continue playing at a club like this.
"After that, maybe I will have a couple of years somewhere else
but at the moment I just want to stay here."
Van Nistelrooy backed the midweek win over Hungarians Debrecen
to aid United in today's Premiership opener at Everton and beyond.
"We came out and performed well against Debrecen," he said.
"If we perform well, the results will come.
That is why we have to keep our focus right and give everything in every game."
