出處 http://0rz.net/a80jA Sir Alex Ferguson has vehemently denied claims that United have been hawking Dutch striker Ruud van Nistelrooy around other clubs with a view to a summer sale. Friday's tabloids linked the forward with swap deals involving La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona, with Michael Owen and Carlos Puyol named as potential targets. However, Sir Alex said: "It's such rubbish that we would be touting the best centre-forward in Europe [to other clubs]. It's beyond words and barely worth commenting on. "It's one of the unfortunate aspects of the job here that you have to deny and refute stories every week. It's because we are big news. "We have not been touting Ruud. There is no chance of us touting Ruud. That's the matter finished." Ferguson also took time to counter claims that he had recommended Roy Keane as his eventual replacement as United boss. The Scot flatly denied making comments attributed to him, saying: It's absolute nonsense. I wouldn't presume to have the authority to make these decisions anyway. "What I have said, and have always said, is that Roy Keane could become a manager. I think that will come eventually if he wants it to. Not everyone wants to be a manager. "Roy has been taking his coaching badges and that is straight forward, there is nothing unusual about that. But, it's like everything else nowadays, everything gets spun out of proportion. He added: "That's what you are faced with. Some of the quotes in the papers were taken from a press day eight weeks ago. It was attended by the world media but it's been spun out of control." For now, Sir Alex wants Keane to focus on his role within the club as captain and player. Ferguson continued: "He's the captain and a player here. All the things about his future are entirely up to Roy; whether he wants go into management or not. Not everyone wants to do that. It's entirely up to him." Despite a disappointing season by United's standards, the Reds boss says his passion for the job remains as strong as ever. When confronted with the proposition that his enthusiasm for the job does not appear to be diminishing, Ferguson responded: "Not at all. It's always a challenge at this club. It will always be a challenge. "That's the great thing about it. It's like with the players, we have to get up off the ground after the defeat on Wednesday and win the next match. That's the great beauty of Manchester United. There is always the challenge of the next game."
