Sir Alex Ferguson強調Diego Forlan將不會離開Old Trafford，因為Ruud 和Solskjaer都
相繼受傷，球隊正面臨短兵缺將的問題。
Van Nistelrooy將在週二進行疝氣手術，而Solskjaer則將在週六接受手術以醫治舊傷復發
的膝蓋。這兩名大將的缺陣迫使曼聯主帥改變計劃，留住這名烏拉圭國腳。
他說：「Solskjaer的缺陣是我必須留下Diego的原因。最近兩周時常出現很多傳聞關於一
些西班牙俱樂部想要以低價格得到他，不過事實是並沒有任何的報價吸引我們讓他離去，
所以既然Solskjaer及van Nistelrooy這兩名前鋒都相繼受傷了，這表示我們不會讓他在
這個時候走。」
Sir Alex Ferguson insists Diego Forlan will not be leaving Old Trafford because
of injuries to Ruud van Nistelrooy and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Van Nistelrooy faces hernia surgery on Tuesday and Solskjaer had an operation o
n his troublesome knee on Saturday and the absence of two key players has force
d the Manchester United boss to scrap plans to offload the Uruguay internationa
l.
He said: "Solskjaer is also a miss which is why I am not inclined to let Diego
go. There has been a lot of toing and froing in the last couple of weeks regard
ing clubs in Spain trying to get him in on the cheap but nothing has really exc
ited us to let him move, so since what has happened to Solskjaer and now van Ni
stelrooy it means he won't be going out now."
