http://football.guardian.co.uk/News_Story/0,1563,1645805,00.html Both club and player today insisted the decision to part ways was by "mutual consent", however sources in Ireland suggest that Keane had a blazing row with the United manager after being told he wasn't wanted for a reserve game against West Brom last night. Keane was also told that he was being stripped of the captaincy, after which he realised he had no future at Old Trafford. 愛爾蘭資料來源: http://tinyurl.com/a5r96 It was claimed yesterday that the final decisive twist in a combustible relationship came after an early morning bust-up at the club’s Carrington training HQ, where Ferguson stripped Keane of the club captaincy - a claim vehemently denied by United officials - and told him his services were no longer required by the club. The truth of the claims has yet to be established, but it is beyond doubt that , in launching personal attacks on his team-mates, Keane crossed the line t hat Ferguson has made one of the central components of his entire managerial career. Close family friends of Keane insisted that his departure was not by “mutual consent”, and witnesses at Carrington reported seeing Keane storm out. Having earlier informed the Glazer family of the unfolding drama, chief executive David Gill summoned Keane and his trusted adviser Michael Kennedy to a meeting yesterday morning at which the terms of his departure were agreed. Keane’s team-mates, who sat through a special screening of his banned MUTV interview a fortnight ago, were informed of the 34-year-old’s departure before training but, while staggered by events, will no doubt welcome Ferguson’s unstinting support. The clinical nature of the departure should silence those who believe Ferguson is preparing his own exit strategy for the summer. Keane joins a list of players, including Jaap Stam, David Beckham and Paul Ince , who took on Ferguson and came off worst. The United boss did not appear to have a care in the world as he breezed through the Carrington complex yesterday, completing his media obligations without a mention of Keane’s future. RedCafe板友回應: I haven't seen the news today, but last night the general impression given over here was that he was put in an impossible position, reacted furiously and predictably, and basically stormed off leaving Kennedy and Gill to sort out a pay off. Apparantly, even Fergie was taken aback by the sudden nature of the whole thing. It's messy and it's shite and it's tragic, but he was never going to go quietly, was he? By the way, the Irish media are not to be trusted any more than any other media, and if fact be known, a lot less so when it comes to Roy Keane. It might sound funny, but Saipan still rages here....especially in the media ....everyone and everything is coloured by it. Keane splits people right down the middle, the journalists included. -- the first rule of the fight club is do not talk about the fight club -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 220.139.50.46 ※ 編輯: punkdd 來自: 220.139.50.46 (11/19 18:21)
