Paul Scholes仍然希望曼聯可以趕上Arsenal奪得聯賽亞軍。
Chelsea在擊敗Bolton Wanderers後奪得聯賽冠軍，而亞軍則會由Arsenal與曼聯爭奪。
Arsenal在擊敗了West Bromwich Albion 後，仍然領先曼聯四分，比賽還有三場，曼聯中
場Scholes仍然希望有機會追上Arsenal奪得次席，確保不需踢外圍賽仍可晉身下屆歐冠杯
分組賽階段。
「Arsenal在週日還要對Liverpool，雖然Liverpool本周有歐冠杯賽事，但我仍希望他們能
助我們一臂之力。」Paul Scholes說。
「我們如果得到第二實在十分不錯，但就算不能，還有足總杯給我們去爭奪。」
Liverpool在昨晚一比零擊敗Chelsea，晉身歐冠杯的決賽。
而曼聯之後則會對著Chelsea，還有兩場都是對著護級的West Bromwich Albion 和
Southampton。

Manchester UnitedPaul Scholes is still hoping that Manchester United can
catch Arsenal in the race for second place.
Chelsea's victory over Bolton confirmed that the recent duopoly over
the Premiership has been broken, although both United and Arsenal were
effectively aware that second place was the most they could hope for
a while ago.
With the chance to progress automatically into the UEFA Champions
League group stage, finishing in the first runners-up slot could
be very financially significant for either outfit.
Arsene Wenger's side currently hold the advantage as they remain four
points ahead of their bitter rivals after beating West Brom on Monday night.
Scholes acknowledged that The Gunners were in pole position although
held out hope that they could still leapfrog the side they also face
in the FA Cup final.
"They do have a couple of tough games but with Liverpool coming off the
back of a big European game, you would have to imagine Arsenal would win
that," Scholes told MUTV.
"We are still hoping but all we can do is concentrate on ourselves.
If second comes great, if not we still have the FA Cup Final coming
up and we are determined to win that."
United face a tricky run-in of their own as they have to take on
Jose Mourinho's newly crowned men as well as relegation fighters
Southampton and West Brom.
Scholes is looking towards the Chelsea game to prove that United,
who could finish third in The Premiership for the second consecutive
season, are not a spent force in the wake of The Blues tremendous
march to the title.
"We have known for a long time Chelsea were going to win the
championship and we expected them to win it at Bolton on Saturday,"
Scholes continued.
"But next Tuesday we have to let them know we are still about and
ready for next season."
Whilst United's league campaign has been disappointing they received
individual platitudes when Wayne Rooney was named PFA Young Player of
the Year, with the former Everton star scoring his 17th goal of the
season against Charlton at the weekend.
Despite an impressive campaign the outrageously talented youngster
is hoping to improve next season, and wants his side to reiterate
their class by claiming the FA Cup.
"I was happy to get another goal on Sunday but I think I can do better
and hopefully next season I will do," Rooney told MUTV.
"We want to win all our games going into the final.
"April was a bad month for us but we have got back to winning ways and
we need to keep it going.
"The Cup final is going to be massive for everyone. We will all be
trying to keep fit so we can fight for our place."
