Underfire Reds keeper Tim Howard could be set for a new deal, according
to reports.
And Roy Carroll could also be set to stay at United.
The 25-year-old American stopper still has two years left on his Old
Trafford contract - and his future had seemed in some doubt earlier
this season after a series of high profile gaffes.
But, according to the Sun, Howard is to be offered a new four year
contract by Sir Alex Ferguson as a sign of faith in his abilities.
Howard had an outstanding first season for the Reds after moving
from NY/NJ Metrostars, but has suffered a notable dip in form in
this campaign.
His colleague Carroll will also accept a deal to stay at the Reds
after a lack of offers from elsewhere, the paper claims.
United have been linked with a number of keepers over the last few
months, but Ferguson's faith in the American and his lack of transfer
funds will reportedly see him stick by Howard as his number one.

曼聯與門將Tim Howard已經開始商量有關續約的事情。
Tim Howard在加盟曼聯不久曾一度備受好評，不過今屆水準一度不穩定。
Roy Carroll在今屆一度搶去Tim Howard的正選，Sir Alex Ferguson亦已經開始物色
新的門將，不過球會方面仍然相信Tim Howard在曼聯仍然有前景的。
「Tim Howard已經開始與基爾 (行政總裁) 商量續約事項。」Sir Alex Ferguson對
《MUTV》說。
「他仍然是一個需要經驗的年青門將，而且他有進步空間的。」
Tim Howard可能會與球會續約四年，不過另一名門將Roy Carroll暫時仍未與球會續約
，相信在暑假有機會離開。
Rio Ferdinand與Ryan Giggs都仍然未與球會續約，但一般相信他們都會留在曼聯。
