Coppell: Ron's best in Prem

Reading manager Steve Coppell has hailed Cristiano Ronaldo as the best
player in the Premiership this season.
The Royals boss is a firm admirer of the Portuguese winger's talent and
believes he has been the chief reason for Manchester United's Premiership
trailblaze.
Coppell takes his team to Old Trafford on Saturday with the equaliser
Ronaldo scored in the teams' first match in September's 1-1 draw still
vivid in memory.
"Not only does he provide goals but he is such a strong goalscorer
himself. He is the current player, more than any other, who is right
at the top of his game," said Coppell.
"And not only is he a terrific player but a huge physical specimen as
well.
"He has got to be nearly 6ft 3ins and weight 13 or 14 stones. He has a
quick left foot and right foot so the list is endless and his qualities
are immense.
"He is unique in the way he controls the ball with his step-overs and
you can almost guarantee that every week you will see a trick on the
ball that no one else appears to do."
Coppell believes Sir Alex Ferguson may shuffle his pack for Saturday's
clash ahead of another match just two days later - New Year's Day's
visit to Newcastle.
"I was just browsing through the fixtures and noticed they have an away
game against Newcastle on the Monday so that would be seen as a big
fixture - and realistically ours isn't as big," added Coppell.
"I'm sure Sir Alex will be trying to juggle his squad to get the best
out of it he can. He has a couple of suspensions as well so I can't
predict who he will play. I have a funny feeling they will be good though.
"There are probably four or five players in that squad who are in great
form at the moment, hence the league table. So although some will be
missing it will still be a magnificent line-up.
"It is like trying to plait spaghetti trying to legislate for what good
players are going to do when they are combining well."

雷丁領隊葛普認為，C.羅納多是這賽季聯賽的最佳球員。
雷丁將會於週末作客老特拉福。而二十一歲的C.羅納多在聖誕期間共射入了四球。
「現階段C.羅納多是最佳球員。」葛普說。
「不單他是一個可怕的球員，而他的體格也十分強壯。他身高過六呎，快速，並
且左右腳俱佳。」
「現在他是曼聯的超級英雄。」
「除了他可以製造入球外，更擅於取得入球。在現役球員中，這一刻他確實是了
不起。」
C.羅納多加盟曼聯後，承繼了貝克漢、坎通納與及葛普自己以往的 7 號球衣。
「他的控球能力是獨特的。」
「他可以保證你每星期都可以表演一些別人沒有的腳法。」
「在對維根的比賽，他只是上陣了五分鐘便射入兩球，並且少了點插水，看似
愈來愈成熟了。」
「現在有四至五位弗格森的球員正值高水準狀態，因此曼聯得以領先榜首。」
在拆禮物日，雷丁在完場前迫和主隊切爾西，幫助了曼聯得以四分領先榜首。
「沒有球隊會羡慕我們連續兩場比賽要作客切爾西和曼聯。」
「而最終我們能夠取得一分而回，而之後，我們要作客到一個宏偉的球場。」
「我將會在比賽中與弗格森會面。暫時他還沒有致電找我，感謝我們賽和了切爾西。」
