曼聯小將伊文斯洗清強姦嫌疑 將不會被告上法庭

去年年底，因為在曼聯的聖誕派對上涉嫌強姦26歲女子的曼聯小將強尼-伊文斯，
在2月份重新到警局接受了調查後，最終警方和皇家監控署決定，不會以強姦罪名起訴
伊文斯。因為缺乏證據，疑點眾多，此案將就此終結。
19歲的伊文斯目前已經被租借到桑德蘭隊，按照原本的保釋安排，他本月還需要到
警局接受詢問，但《每日鏡報》報道指出，警方將不會有進一步的行動。不過，對於此
案，曼聯和警方都拒絕發表任何評論。
去年聖誕節前，曼聯球員邀請了接近100名女子參加了一個沒有球員妻子或者女友
在場的派對，總花費達到4.3萬鎊。今年1月事發後，伊文斯曾被警局扣留審訊1個小時
，因為一名26歲女子聲言在曼聯後衛費迪南德組織聖誕派對的酒店樓上的房間遭到他的
強姦，該女子隨後被送到了性侵犯檢測中心，由專家對她的身體進行檢查，隨後警方也
為她進行了詳細的筆錄。
但此後英國媒體揭露，伊文斯曾與該女子及其男友發生衝突，因此懷疑是遭到對方
的報復，而現場閉路電視也沒有顯示伊文斯與該女子在一起的畫面。
終於被洗清嫌疑的伊文斯，則表示了對紅魔隊長加裡-內維爾的感謝。「過去幾個
月，加裡對我非常好，尤其是在球場之外的事情上。」伊文斯說，「他顯示了自己是個
非常優秀的隊長，即使他因為受傷已經很久沒有參加比賽了。」

Meanwhile, Evans has thanked Manchester United skipper Gary Neville for
helping him through the anguish that followed allegations of rape after
the Manchester United players' Christmas party.
"Over the past few months Gary has been fantastic with me, especially with
the off-the- field stuff as well as on the field," added Evans.
"He's shown he has been a really good captain for Manchester United even
though he hasn't been playing through injury."
