Heinze Buoyed By Friends' Support
Gabriel Heinze has been boosted in his recovery from cruciate ligament
damage by the support of his friends and United team-mates.
The Argentine suffered the setback in September's draw with Villarreal
but despite potentially missing the rest of the Premiership season and
the 2006 World Cup, he is remaining positive.

Heinze told the Sunday Mirror: "You see who your friends are at times
like these. Luckily I've received phone calls from lots of them and it's
true that good really does come from bad. The injury has demonstrated
that people love me.
"My United team-mates were very worried and that has given me enormous
happiness during a difficult period.
"This is a test for me. But I'm very strong and I've been through some
hard things in my life - like the death of my father. But he will help
me to recover. The Great Man in the Sky will be by my side."
他在接受《星期日鏡報》採訪時說：「受傷後許多朋友給我打來了電話，有時候壞事也能
變成好事。現在我明白有許多人在關心我。我的隊友都非常擔心我的狀況，這讓我感到很

Gabriel suffered the injury when he landed awkwardly after an aerial
challenge, but despite the innocuous nature of the setback he is maintaining
a philosophical outlook.
"I've watched what happened on TV about 10,000 times and counting,"
he said. "I'm not angry about it. I've committed harder tackles. I've
taken what seemed like worse knocks.
"I'm a feisty player and I've been in risky situations where nothing has
happened. God wanted this to take place."
海因策是在一次頭球爭頂之後落地不穩而意外受傷，但他並沒有因此而感到沮喪。「我在
電視上看了10000次我受傷的鏡頭，我想這一切都是上帝的安排。我以前做過比這更危險
的動作，但是都沒有受傷。所以這次是上帝要我受傷。」
Heinze does concede, however, that the timing of the injury could have
been better - particularly with his place in Argentina's World Cup squad
seemingly already cemented.
"It's difficult though as I was going well," he admitted. "I was settled
in the national team, we'd already qualified for the World Cup and Argentina
coach Jose Pekerman was counting on me.
"They say injuries always come at the worst times. I had to work hard to
get to the level I had reached."
海因策同時也承認這次受傷影響了他在國家隊的比賽。「就算我狀態良好的時候，代表國
家隊比賽也不是件容易的事情。我們已經打進了世界盃，教練還指望我能為球隊做貢獻。

Having undergone a reparatory operation on his knee in Spain, Heinze is now
fully focused on making a full recovery and returning to first-team action.
He said: "The operation went as well as was expected and now I have to put
all my energies into recovering."
在西班牙進行手術之後，海因策目前正在努力恢復健康，希望能早日回到隊中。他說：
