Neville Disappointed At FA Disciplinary Ruling
Gary Neville is "extremely disappointed" that he has been given a ￡5000
fine and warned as to his future conduct by the Football Association after
being found guilty of improper conduct.

The charge relates to Neville's celebration of Rio Ferdinand's late winner
against Liverpool in the 1-0 Premiership win at Old Trafford on January 22.
The 31-year-old defender attended a personal Disciplinary Commission hearing
on Tuesday, but was not happy with the outcome.
"I am extremely disappointed with the decision," the United skipper told
ManUtd.com. "I believe it to be a poor decision, not only for me but for
all footballers.
"Being a robot, devoid of passion and spirit is obviously the way forward
for the modern-day footballer. And I ask the authorities, where is football
being taken?"
Neville now has 14 days to respond to the charge, but a decision on whether
he will appeal has not yet been made.

Neville angry after FA punishment
Manchester United's Gary Neville has launched an attack on the Football
Association after he was found guilty of improper conduct.
He was fined ￡5,000 after taunting Liverpool fans after United's late
winner at Old Trafford in January.
Neville told United's website: "I am extremely disappointed.
"I believe it is a poor decision, not just for me but for all footballers.
Being a robot, devoid of passion and spirit is obviously the way forward."
The 31-year-old, who was also warned about his future conduct, added: "And
I ask the authorities, 'Where is football being taken?"'
Neville did not attend the hearing but gave evidence via video link.
The defender was the subject of constant baiting from Liverpool fans when
the two teams met at Anfield on Saturday in the FA Cup.
Liverpool won 1-0 and after the tie Neville said: "I nail my colours to the
mast and I expect and accept it is not going to be accepted by the Liverpool
fans.
"I have been to Anfield a lot down the years. The reception was not too bad
and as long as the abuse doesn't boil over on to the pitch, I don't have a
problem with it. It is part of the game."

近日英格蘭足總為加裡-內維爾的"不恰當球場行為"開出了5000 英鎊的罰單，並且警
告他在今後的比賽中不得再出現類情況。為此加裡-內維爾表示他對英格蘭足總的這一判
罰"極度失望"。
針對內維爾的指控緣起於對曼聯 1比0 戰勝利物浦的那場聯賽比賽。1月 22日在老特
拉福德球場獲勝後，加裡 -內維爾和隊友裡奧- 費迪南德一起慶祝進球，隨後被指當時動
作有侮辱利物浦球迷的嫌疑。
現年31歲的曼聯後防大將週二的時候出席了足總的聽證會接受質詢，他在曼聯的隊友
也到庭作證。但內維爾對聽證會最終做出的決定非常失望。曼聯隊長在接受官方網站採訪
的時候表示，"我對這個決定感到非常失望。我相信這個裁決很差勁，這個裁決不僅對我來
說是一個打擊，所有球員都無法接受足總的這個決定。"
面對曼聯官方網站的記者，內維爾不無憂慮地表示足總如此判罰會對球員今後在場上
的表現帶來多麼大的負面影響，他甚至對英格蘭足球的未來提出了質疑。"現在的球員在場
上完全像機器人一樣，沒有一點激情和靈感，這就是現代球員的發展方向。而且我得問一
問掌權的先生們，足球的未來在哪裡？"內維爾氣憤地說道。
在足總做出裁決後的 14天內，內維爾有權做出回應，但目前他還沒有做出是否上訴的
決定。
