Bardsley Signs Up Until 2009

Phil Bardsley has signed a contract extension that will keep him
at Old Trafford until 2009.
The 20-year-old right-back has grasped his chance in the first-team
this season, making eight appearances for the Reds.
Salford-born Bardsley told ManUtd.com: "I'm really pleased to
extend my contract with United.
"It's been great having the opportunity to be involved with the first team
this season and to be a part of Manchester United. I want that to continue."
Bardsley is another product of United's successful youth system.
After signing professional forms with the club in July 2003
he made his debut in December later that year in the Carling Cup
against West Brom.
But it wasn't until this season that he has become a regular member
of Sir Alex Ferguson's squad.
