Foster Joins United

Manchester United have completed the signing of Stoke City goalkeeper
Ben Foster for an undisclosed fee.

Foster joins on a four-year deal after completing a medical on Monday,
but the 22-year-old is likely to spend his first season as a United
player out on loan.

He told ManUtd.com: "I am absolutely delighted to sign for Manchester United.

"I am hoping to go out on loan next season to gain some experience. After
that I'll be looking to push on with United and see what happens."

     7月19日，曼聯官方正式宣佈，簽下了來自英冠斯托克城隊的年輕門將本-福斯特，
雙方簽定了一份為期4年的合約。


　　福斯特今年22歲，上賽季代表雷克斯漢姆在英甲征戰，儘管沒有過在最高級別聯賽中
表現的經歷，但弗格森在看到福斯特時還是產生了濃厚的興趣，爵爺安排自己的守門員教
練多次前往觀看其表現，並決定將他簽下。


　　上週末，曼聯和斯托克城就轉會費達成了一致，雖然具體數額沒有披露，但據媒體估
計，福斯特的離開給後者帶來了100萬英鎊的收入，而且根據出場次數等條件，還能進一
步提升到250萬到300萬，7月19日，福斯特通過了曼聯的體檢，正式成為了紅魔的一員。


　　曼聯簽約福斯特解決了人們對於紅魔守門員位置的最後懸疑。今年夏天，卡羅爾和裡
卡多先後離隊，在荷蘭人范德薩加盟後，第三門將的配置還空缺一人，福斯特最終成為了
答案。這樣在新賽季，曼聯門將位置的出場順序將是范德薩、霍華德和福斯特，而當前兩
人都沒有傷病的情況下，後者還有可能被租借離隊，獲取實戰經驗。


　　「我對於能夠簽約曼聯感到絕對的高興，」福斯特說，「下個賽季，我希望能夠租借
出去效力，獲得經驗，在那之後，我希望能夠在曼聯展開競爭，然後看看接下來的進展。
」


　　不過曼聯方面也不全是好消息，在北京時間今晨擊敗彼德堡的熱身賽後，幾名曼聯隊
員的行為讓弗格森頗感憤怒。據太陽報報道，費迪南德、C-羅納爾多和魯尼沒有隨全隊一
起坐大巴回到駐地，而是不打招呼單獨打車離去，這種脫離集體的舉動讓一向重視團隊精
神的爵爺大為光火，尤其是費迪南德，拖延著遲遲不肯續約，已經讓弗格森看不過去，現
在有鬧出這樣一檔子事情，看起來，在新賽季開始之前，曼聯還有很多事情要做，來使自
己達到和諧統一的最佳狀態。
