Spireites sign Man Utd youngster

Chesterfield have signed teenage Manchester United defender Phil Picken
on loan until the end of December.
The 19-year-old, who can operate at right-back or in midfield, will be
in the Spireites' squad for Saturday's League One game at Oldham.
"We are pleased that Phil is joining us as he will give our injury-hit
squad a welcome boost," assistant boss Lee Richardson told Chesterfield's
website.
Picken has not yet appeared for the Red Devils' first team.

Swindon boss Andy King is still waiting to sign Manchester United
youngsters Tom Heaton and Colin Heath on loan.
"I spoke to Sir Alex Ferguson about them - we have had them here training,
but the deal is not done yet for either player," King told his club's website.
Striker Heath, 21, scored twice for United's reserves against Bolton on
Monday, while 19-year-old goalkeeper Heaton was also in the side.
Heath made five appearances on loan at Cambridge United last season.
