Manchester United have bid ￡50,000 for midfielder Daniel Galbraith before
the 16-year-old has made a breakthrough into the Hearts first team.
Galbraith, from Galashiels, is a member of the the Scotland Youth squad.
Hearts youth academy director John Murray told the Daily Mail: "They have put
an offer in writing and I know they rate the player highly.
"There will be a temptation to join a club like Manchester United, but we
would prefer if he developed with us."
