Reds Not In Talk For Diarra --agent

Mahamadou Diarra's agent has refuted claims that the Lyon midfielder is in
talks with Real Madrid and Manchester United.

Reports in spanish daily newspaper AS had claimed the Mali international was
in talks with both clubs but favoured a move to Madrid.

But the player's agent, Frederic Guerra, dismissed the stories.

"I have never spoken to the journalists at AS, nor anyone else," Guerra is
quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

"I don't know how I am supposed to have met the Real management seeing as
there isn't one at the moment," he said, referring to Real's current
presidential election campaign.

"And to conclude a transfer, the two clubs negotiate the fee amongst
themselves without any input from the player's agent.

"I have not had any approaches concerning Mahamadou Diarra from
either Real or Manchester."
