Blues step up Fortune chase

MANCHESTER City will offer Quinton Fortune the two-year deal he is looking
for in an attempt to entice the South African to Eastlands.
曼城將會提供福瓊一紙兩年的合約。
Fortune was released by Manchester United at the end of the season and the
29-year-old had been expected to join Scottish Premier League champions Celtic.
福瓊在本賽季末被曼聯釋出，本來有望加盟蘇超Celtic。
However, after the deal initially stalled while Celtic assessed the results
of some previous scans on Fortune’s knee, it has now collapsed altogether as
the Glasgow outfit are not willing to offer the utility man any more than a
one-year contract.
但雙方談判因為Celtic看過了福瓊之前所拍的X光片而陷入泥淖。
格拉斯哥球隊只願意與福瓊簽約一年。
The development has brought City and north-west rivals Bolton back into the
reckoning, both of whom would appeal to Fortune as he would not have to move
his family away from their current base.
這個發展使得原本就有意引進福瓊的City和Bolton又有了希望。
這兩支球隊對福瓊來說最大的優點就是不用搬家。
