Peter Thompson is a Northern Irish Footballer who plays for Linfield in the
Irish Premier League. He has also been capped by Northern Ireland.

Peter Thompson這名北愛球員效力於愛爾蘭超級聯賽Linfield隊以及北愛國家隊。

He was the leagues top goalscorer in 2005-2006, scoring an unbelieveable 48
goals in just 58 games in League and Cup competitions.

These goals helped his beloved club Linfield to not only the League title
but also all three cups - Giving Linfield the clean sweep and leaving bitter
rivals Glentoran empty handed.

Peter was the scorer of two goals in a 2-1 victory over Glentoran in the
Irish League Cup Final. Peter is a fans favourite and has been given the
name 'Pistol Pete'. Starting beside Linfield Legend Glenn Ferguson upfront
they were a forced to be reckoned with in the 2005-06 season in a partnership
collecting 90 goals. Helping the team to an incredible 166 goals in just 60
games (2.77/game).

Premiership giants Manchester United have been linked with a move for him
in the past few days, with a bid of ￡100,000 being rejected by the Belfast
club.

we can afford to waste ￡150,000 get him loan him out for a year to see if

GaryLifo : I think that finishing is the one thing that just cannot be
coached. The lad has a natural finishing ability which is evident from
the videos.
Obviously the difference in standard of football would be huge, but certainly
well worth a punt for 150-200k
Ole Solskjaer is a fine example of how far being a brilliant finisher can take
you.

was terrible, I know he still has to put them away, and he'd improve training
at united, but still he wouldn't get gifts like that even in League 2.
Worth a couple of hundred thousand? Probably, but then again Chelsea will offer
