曼聯青少年超級杯20強出爐 幾多新人將成未來之星

經過預選賽之後，曼聯青少年超級杯賽總決賽的20支參賽球隊已於近日全部產生。這
20支聚集了全球最出色的15歲以下球員的球隊將於2005年7月19日至23日在中國香港角逐
最後的冠軍。
在這一規模最大、級別最高的青少年賽事中能躋身決賽20強絕非易事。近幾年來從名
不見經傳的小球隊到最傑出的足球俱樂部，世界各地有近8000支球隊參加了NIKE超級杯賽
在不同地區、國家和區域舉行的不同級別的小組預賽和入圍賽。
這次由英格蘭曼聯俱樂部和香港足球總會聯合主辦的賽事將在香港歐樂谷體育訓練場
舉行，為接下來舉行的香港聯隊對曼聯隊的比賽揭開序幕，該場比賽門票目前已被搶購一
空。
自1993年創立以來，超級杯已成為培養優秀青少年球員的沃土。許多當年在賽事中成
名的球員已成為了職業球員，現在正代表各自的俱樂部和國家隊參加職業比賽。這些隊員
包括莫爾汀(巴西科林蒂安)、馬斯切拉諾(巴西科林蒂安)、森本貴幸(東京日視)、雷耶斯
(英格蘭阿森納)和托雷斯(西班牙馬德里競技)。
由耐克(NIKE)公司和曼聯俱樂部聯合主辦的超級杯賽在1993年創立初期還是一個只有
15個國家的隊伍參賽的區域賽事，如今已逐步發展成為一個全球性的聯賽。

Young Reds Aim To Go One Better In Hong Kong
United's Under-15 side will be aiming to go one step better than last
year's runners-up slot as they host the 2005 Manchester United Premier
Cup in Hong Kong.
The Reds, beaten in last year's final by Manchester City, are one of
twenty teams gearing up for the culmination of the world's biggest
under-15 tournament.
This year's Nike organised tournament is being held in Hong Kong from
20-23 July and almost 8,000 teams from 40 countries have competed for
the right to take part.
This year's final will take place in the Hong Kong National Stadium ahead
of the opening game of the first-team's Asian tour against the Hong Kong
national team.
