Park In Contention For Asian Player Of The Year
United's South Korean Midfielder Ji-sung Park is among 10 nominees for the
Asian Player of the Year award.
The Asian Football Conderation (AFC) announced the list of nominess on
Friday, and Park have reached the Champions League semi finals is one
of the frontrunners for the award.

Bolton midfielder Hidetoshi Nakata is also nominated along, whilst Bayern
Munich's Ali Karimi, last year's winner, and Tottenham's South Korea
international Lee Young-pyo were also named.

The list of ten will be shortened to three finalists on 14 November with the
winner announced at the AFC awards ceremony in Kuala Lumpur on 30 November.
