Fergie responds to Hughes comments

Fergie: I Hope Mark Listens To Me
Sir Alex Ferguson believes Mark Hughes should take his comments
regarding Blackburn's physical approach on board, rather than
become engaged in a war of words.
Fergie was unhappy with Blackburn's boisterous antics during
Wednesday's 4-3 defeat at Ewood Park which featured seven bookings
and one red card.
Hughes in turn responded by labelling the United manager's remarks "harsh,"
whilst insisting the criticism had taken the shine off Blackburn's victory.
Fergie, however, is sticking with his views on the Lancashire side
and believes Hughes would be wise to listen.
"I hate doing it because Mark's one of my great players who I loved
and I think he's done a great job as a manager," he explained.
"But he's got to look at himself a bit because he's out contesting every
decision that goes against his team.
"You have to accept you're going to get fouls against you,
you can't contest every one of them.
"He's got good enthusiasm and energy and maybe that's the way he uses
his energy," adds Fergie.
"I don't think he should be upset [by my comments] because the criticism
has come from all directions since he arrived there in terms of
their physical play, not just from me.
"Managing isn't an easy job and I just hope he listens to me
because he could have a great career."
