Handled cleanly and some brave keeping gave Reds a solid final line

Neville: 5
Not himself and was clearly unwell but he soldiered on. Chris Eagles
didn't have much sympathy 

Brown: 5
Like his sidekick he suffered on occasions when Nugent and Thomson
went at defence 

Evans: 5
Was stretched and got turned over worryingly a few times 

Evra: 7
His usual lively penetrative performance in attack and little change
out of him in defence

Valencia: 6
Couldn't complain about how his colleagues brought him into game
but didn't do enough with it

Carrick: 5
A quiet day to say the least. Hard to pinpoint any impact he really
had in the midfield 

Scholes: 7
Banged his head against a brick wall at times searching for the
breakthrough pass

Nani: 6
In the main his fluorescent yellow boots were the brightest part about him

Berbatov: 6
Couple of golden touches and it finally paid off but it was a toil

Rooney: 6
Kept plugging away and eventually got his reward
