By his standards, this was disappointing. Never made any serious

Seemed to relish his first Anfield clash and kept Reds in
midfield battle.

The hurly burly of a tight and frenzied engine room was right up
his street.

The veteran has had better days in these clashes with Liverpool.

Loved the raw-boned nature of this bout and deserved to score.

Put himself about, as you'd expect, and had a hand in Tevez goal.
