United join Tevez chase
Carlos Tevez is the new target for big-spending Manchester United. United
chief executive David Gill admitted last week the Old Trafford giants want
a striker. Alex Ferguson's champs have already splashed out ￡47million
this summer on Owen Hargreaves, Nani and Anderson. Now they have joined
the race for Argentine hitman Tevez, who seems certain to quit West Ham.
