Boss: Tevez deal is close

Fergie證實曼聯即將簽下Carlos Tevez。

Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that United are trying to sign Argentine
striker Carlos Tevez, and hopes to complete a deal in the near future.

Frenzied speculation in the latter half of last week predicted that United
would have wrapped up a deal for the West Ham star over the weekend.

No deal has yet been completed, but Sir Alex claims that - as far as he is
aware - there are no complications in a deal which is ready to go through.

"We are in negotiations, which has been well documented," he said, speaking
at a press conference to unveil new signings Owen Hargreaves and Nani.

"[Club Solicitor] Maurice Watkins has been working on it for a month,
maybe more, to make sure the deal is perfectly clear and there are no
side issues.

"To be honest I thought it would have all been sorted by the weekend
just gone. It must be the Premier League that is holding it up.

"From what David [Gill] and Maurice said everything was ready to go.
Unless something's being held back from us, I don't know of anything
that's holding it up.

"The essential parts of the deal are all agreed, hopefully it will be
finalised soon."

    儘管特維斯的轉會案牽涉多方，曼聯、西漢姆、英超聯盟和霍拉布欽集團都有干係
，但弗格森依然對本周簽下阿根廷人信心十足。


　　在阿根廷4比0擊敗秘魯的美洲杯賽上，特維斯兩次助攻表現出色，這更讓弗格森相
信，為「野獸」付出這麼多是值得的。「我知道，毛瑞斯-沃特金斯(曼聯的律師)為了這
次轉會已經工作了一個月了，甚至可能更長，以確保一切都清晰無誤，我一度認為上週
末這筆交易就能夠宣佈了。」


　　「我確信，最終的結果將是我們簽下特維斯，而且交易將絕對清晰，不會有任何禁
賽的可能，我們不可能捲入任何黑幕。」


　　弗格森還給質疑這筆交易的英超聯盟施加了壓力，他稱既然馬斯切拉諾能去利物浦
，特維斯沒理由不能來曼聯。「除非英超聯盟有什麼沒有告訴我們的內幕，我真的不
知道存在什麼問題，因為我們對馬斯切拉諾的轉會也很關注。」


　　如果特維斯本周能夠完成簽約，他將成為曼聯夏季的第四名新球員，而據英國媒體
披露，曼聯有可能將為此付出最高達3000萬英鎊的高昂代價，其中800萬是租借兩年的費
用，而如果加上兩年後永久簽約的選擇權附帶轉會費(2000萬左右)以及球員工資的總費
用，甚至將突破3000萬的大關。


　　與此同時，弗格森在談到購買葡萄牙新星納尼時稱，曼聯的行動也許早了一年。「
我們關注納尼很久了，差不多和當初考察C-羅納爾多的時間一樣長，理想情況下，納尼
本該在葡萄牙再踢一年，但情況迫使我們提前買人。納尼和C羅不同，他不僅可以踢兩個
邊路，還能踢中路，他速度快、有超凡的能量，我們知道得到了一位非常有天賦的球員
。」
