Crewe swoop for Gray

Crewe Alexandra have signed United youngster David Gray on a month's loan.
The League One outfit moved for the Scottish defender after an injury to
their right-back George Abbey.
Gray is a regular member of Brian McClair's reserves side. He has made just
one first-team appearance for the Reds, which came against Crewe in the
Carling Cup in October 2006.
The 19-year-old is quick, right-sided player and he can operate either at
right-back or on the wing.
Gray is expected to go straight into the Alex squad for Saturday's trip to
Nottingham Forest, and will be available for three further league matches -
Gillingham and Walsall at home, and Hartlepool away.
Crewe are currently 10th in League One, but the division is very tight and
only five points seperate Dario Gradi's side from league leaders Carlisle.
