Manchester United midfielder Darron Gibson has extended his loan spell at
Wolves until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old Republic of Ireland international started his three-month
loan in October and has since made eight starts for the Championship club.
Gibson can now provide cover for Nigerian Seyi Olofinjana, who heads to the
African Cup of Nations in January.
"Sir Alex (Ferguson) has agreed that Darren can stay and we are grateful
to Manchester united for that.
"Darron's a good footballer and has done well since he came here," boss Mick
McCarthy told the Wolves website.

of the season on loan at Stoke City.

"He has been one hell of a bonus because you never know for sure with a
young and untried player what you are going to get, even though we were

Alex in particular, for helping us out once again.
"Ryan has loved it here, not least because everyone has made him feel so
welcome.
"Now we just hope he plays as well in the second half of the season as he
