利物浦外援逼走本土天才 曼聯搶簽紅軍希望之星

曼聯成功從利物浦手上簽下英格蘭頭號希望之星斯科特-沃頓（Scott Wootton）。
英國媒體《人物報》透露，在球場上司職中衛的沃頓在12歲時就已經加盟安菲爾德
，但是由於利物浦只願向他提供短期合同，這令這位英格蘭青年隊國腳感到十分不滿。
沃頓在拒絕了利物浦的新合同後，立刻就跟曼聯簽約。
失去沃頓對利物浦來說是一個沉重的打擊，紅軍的內部人員透露，沃頓離開利物浦
的主要原因是，他覺得俱樂部的青年學校中擁有太多的外國球員，他認為這樣會妨礙自
己的發展，因此他決定轉投英超另一豪門俱樂部曼聯。
沃頓的天賦得到曼聯的肯定，紅魔希望沃頓在未來成為球員重要的一員。

Meanwhile, Manchester United have snatched top teenage centre-half Scott
Wootton from deadly rivals Liverpool in a controversial raid.
The England youth international from the Wirral had been with the Anfield
club since he was 12, but he and his family were upset when he was offered
only a short-term deal to stay.
Wootton turned down the contract and was immediately picked up by United who
offered him the chance to be a professional - after just one run-out in the
under-18 side last week.
It is a major slap for Rafa Benitez's club and insiders reveal Wootton left
because he thought there were too many foreigners at the club's academy and
his way would be blocked.
And the size of his potential was quickly spotted by eager United.
