在轉會市場上一出手就是5000多萬英鎊，曼聯看來是鐵了心要捍衛自己英超王者的
榮譽了。成功奪取英超桂冠後，弗格森馬不停蹄地先後簽下了哈格裡夫斯，納尼和安德
森三員猛將，讓人們對曼聯的未來充滿期待。
而隊中主力裡奧費迪南德也不失時機地站出來表示自己對於曼聯最近的幾筆交易結
果感到非常興奮，同時也表示自己已經把目光著眼於下賽季繼續奪取更多桂冠上了。
裡奧表示自己認為這三筆成功的交易將會是下個賽季曼聯得以奪冠的重要砝碼之一
，他對記者說，「上個賽季我們和波爾圖比賽過。當時安德森代表他們出戰。他是後來
我們一直在討論的少數幾個人之一。而納尼，雖然我沒有看過他比賽，但我聽他們說他
是一個很像C羅納爾多的球員。如果他很像他，而且能做到羅納爾多做的一半好，我們就
得到了一個夢幻般出色的球員。所以我現在感到很興奮。」
「而我們都很熟悉哈格裡夫斯，他也是一個出色的球員。他能讓我們的中場更加堅
固，在他身後踢球是一件非常讓人開心的事情。」
儘管已經獲得了英超桂冠，但在足總杯決賽中失利，冠軍杯也惜敗於米蘭。費迪南
德並不滿意於曼聯這個賽季所取得的成績，他還想獲得更多的錦標。

Rio covets a clean sweep
Having regained the Barclays Premier League title last term,
Rio Ferdinand is adamant that United are intent on claiming
all available silverware next season.
The England defender is eyeing a clean sweep as the Reds aim
to build on last season's near misses in the Champions League
and FA Cup and reclaim the Carling Cup.
"Next season we won't be talking about what happened last
season," Ferdinand told Sky Sports News. "It's about what we
want to win in the future.
"We want to win the league, the FA Cup, the Carling Cup and
the Champions League. We know it's going to be difficult, but
you've got to set your standards."
Integral to United's hopes of success are three close-season
signings - Anderson, Nani and Owen Hargreaves - and Ferdinand
is already excited about lining up with the trio.
Already well aware of Hargreaves' virtues from international
duty with England, Rio concedes the younger new arrivals are
a little more of an unknown quantity–although United did
sample Brazilian playmaker Anderson's trickery last summer.
"We all know about Owen," said Ferdinand. "He's a fantastic
footballer and is someone who will add another dimension to
our midfield that's already great to play behind.
"We played against Porto in pre-season and Anderson played
for them. He was someone a few of the lads were talking about
anyway.
"I've not seen the other fella (Nani) play. A lot of people
say he is very similar to Cristiano Ronaldo. If he is similar
to him and he comes half as good as him, we've got a fantastic
player on our hands, so it's exciting."
重新奪冠英超冠軍之後 Rio Ferdinand表示曼聯全隊上下已經把目光投向
下賽季，渴望奪下任何曼聯有機會獲得的獎杯..!!
"下賽季，我們不會去回想我們曾經獲得什麼，而是去想我們有機會獲得什麼
我們希望贏下英超聯賽、足總盃、聯賽盃以及歐洲聯賽..!! 我知道每一個冠
軍都不容易，但是你必須設定自己的目標..!!"
同時，Rio還評論了一下剛剛加盟的三位球員
"我們都認識Owen，他是一位優秀的球員，他的到來大大增強了我們中場的實力..!!"
"我們在上賽季季前賽跟波爾圖踢過，當時我們隊裏談論比較多的就是Anderson..!!"
"我還沒有看過Nani踢球，人們喜歡拿他和CR比較，如果他可以有CR一半優秀的話，
那?我們手中就很出色的球員了，那是令人興奮的一件事..!!"
