Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-Sung may be sidelined until January
because of a knee injury.
The South Korean international, 26, had an operation towards the end of last
season and now faces a lengthy lay-off.
"He will not be available until December or January," said United boss Sir
Alex Ferguson ahead of the club's pre-season tour of the Far East.
"It is very disappointing news but hopefully we have the squad to cover
injuries this year."
Park has still travelled with the United squad for their tour, which takes in
Japan, Korea, Macau and China.
He had surgery on his knee in April, with renowned knee specialist Dr Richard
Steadman conducting the operation in the United States.
