Newcastle will be without defender Stephen Carr (hamstring) and midfielder
Emre (calf strain) against United.
Striker Obafemi Martins is again missing with an ankle problem but Charles
N'Zogbia is available after serving a one-match suspension.
The visitors have a clean bill of health going into the encounter.
Ryan Giggs has recovered from the minor knee injury which forced him off
in the second half of the Champions League draw against Lyon on Wednesday.
