Didn't give Gary Neville a sliver of hope that he might be vulnerable
now he's breathing down his neck 6

Back in his stride quiet easily and a few decent penetrative runs 7

Not sure where he was when Martins gave Newcastle the lead 6
Vidic:
Slow start then he got back into it powerfully. Great second half
tackle when United exposed 8
Fletcher:
He's not Ronaldo obviously but a good shift and finished his goal
as clinically as the winger 7

Some wayward passing at times almost got the Reds into trouble but
he pounded Newcastle goal a couple of times 6
Carrick:
Hadn't really got into the match before he was off injured 5

Great effort by the veteran. His crossing was a delight at times 8

Industry was exceptional as usual but had to come deep at times to
