Hull v Man Utd PREMIER LEAGUE Venue: KC Stadium Date: Sunday, 24 May Kick-off: 1600 BST (台灣時間 5/24 23:00) 直播頻道 (((((((((( 台灣衛視體育台 Live )))))))))) 衛視體育(東南亞、台灣)、香港NOW寬頻632、超級體育7 United travel to the KC Stadium on Sunday without a host of star players who are being rested ahead of the Champions League final on Wednesday. The likes of Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo and Michael Carrick will be rested ahead of the game against Barcelona in Rome, with Federico Macheda and Daniel Welbeck possibly set to lead the United attack and Darren Gibson in midfield. Ferguson could hand the captain's armband to Darren Fletcher, who will be suspended for the Champions League final. United defender Wes Brown could return following a foot problem, while Rio Ferdinand faces a fitness test. Mendy are both in contention after missing last weekend's draw at Bolton with head and toe injuries respectively. Left-back Andy Dawson is also expected to start the match despite struggling this week with illness. Striker Caleb Folan is available again after suspension but on-loan Manucho is unable to play against his parent club. Hull (from): Myhill, Ricketts, Turner, Zayatte, Dawson, Garcia, Boateng, Barmby, Geovanni, Fagan, Halmosi, Folan, Mendy, Marney, Cousin, Kilbane, Featherstone, Cooper, Doyle, Hughes, France, Duke. United have won eight of the 10 final-day fixtures away from home, including the last four. - This match pits the clubs with the fewest and the most clean sheets in this Premier League season; Hull have kept six, United 23. - Hull sensationally scored three times in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford in November, and still came away on the losing side (4-3). But they host Manchester United in a league match for the first time in 35 years, having won three and drawn one of the previous four on home soil - all in the second tier. - Distance between the clubs: 103 miles (166 kilometres) CLUB FORM 1st 87 points CHAMPIONS (Merit payment: £15,200,000) 1. Won 18 of the last 21 Premier League matches, and 45 of their 64 in all competitions this season (including two on penalty shoot-outs). 2. Last Saturday's goalless draw with Arsenal was their fourth clean sheet in six league games, and the first time they'd failed to score in eight. 3. Victory would see them end on 90 points; their best return since 91 points in 1999-2000, which is the most they've accumulated from a 20-club Premier League campaign. 4. Won all five fixtures against the promoted clubs, with clean sheets in four of them. 5. Already done the double over 10 clubs; West Ham, Manchester City, Stoke, Wigan, Bolton, Portsmouth, Blackburn, Sunderland, Middlesbrough and West Brom. Hull could still be added to that list. KEY PLAYER NOTES - MANUCHO is on loan from Manchester United and therefore ineligible to play. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - Edwin VAN DER SAR is leading the race for the Barclays Golden Glove with 21 clean sheets. - Cristiano RONALDO is the highest scoring Premier League player with 26 goals in all club competitions this season. - The 24 year old Portugal international is also joint top scorer in the Premier League with 18 goals, sharing the lead for the Barclays Golden Boot with Chelsea's Nicolas ANELKA. - Wayne ROONEY is a hat-trick shy of 100 goals for Manchester United. - Paul SCHOLES needs a double to reach 100 Premier League goals - all for United. - Ryan GIGGS is a double shy of 150 goals for Manchester United. If selected: - Rio FERDINAND will be making his 400th career league appearance (West Ham, Bournemouth, Leeds and Manchester United). - Tomasz KUSZCZAK will be making his 50th career Premier League appearance (West Brom and Manchester United). If on the field from the outset: - Nemanja VIDIC wil be making his 100th Premier League start in Manchester United colours. HEAD TO HEAD - Manchester United are paying their first visit to the KC Stadium. They won their most recent trip to the city 0-1 in the second leg of a second round Littlewoods League Cup tie on 7 October 1987, but have not returned with maximum points from Hull for 84 years since winning 0-1 in the old Second Division on 21 March 1925. - Victory would see United registering their third league double over Hull. They previously achieved it 1905-06 and 1924-25. They have a massive game in the Champions League final a few days later so you can understand why Sir Alex Ferguson would want to rest players. However, I still feel the team will be decent and it will include young, hungry players who in a way could be more a threat than some of the senior players who may have one eye on that final in Rome. But I think Hull will get something in this game and I feel a point will be enough to keep them in the Premier League. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/eng_prem/8048308.stm http://www.skysports.com/football/match_preview/0,19764,11065_3005633,00.html http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/8048360.stm -- ★ ╔╦═╮╔╮ ╭╔╮ ╭╔╦═╮ ╔╮╔╮╭╦═╮╔╮═╮ ☆ ☆ ╠╬╦╯╠╣ ║╠╣ ║╠╣ ║ ╠╣╠╣╠╬═╣╠╣ ║ ★ ★ ╰╝╰╯╰╝═╯╰╝═╯╚╯═╯ ╰╰╯╯╰╝ ╰╰╝ ╰ ☆ SCORING MACHINE︰ Ruud van Nistelrooy ★ ╔╮═╮╭╦╦╮╭╦═╮╭╦╦╮╔╦═╮╔╮ ╔╦═╮╭╦═╭═╦╮╮ ╔╮ ╠╣ ║ ╠╣ ╚╩╦╮ ╠╣ ╠╬╣ ╠╣ ╠╬╦╯╠╣ ║ ╠╣╚═╬╣ ╰╝ ╰╰╩╩╯╰═╩╝ ╚╝ ╚╩═╯╰╩═╯╰╝╰╯╰╩═╯═╩╯╰═╩╝ -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 118.170.104.65
