KLEBERSON could be offered an escape route from Old Trafford with Werder Bremen
 keen to snap up the Brazilian midfielder.

The World Cup winner has so far failed to make any sort of impact with the Reds
 since signing last summer and his status at the club was highlighted by his fa
ilure to make the 16-man squad for the FA Cup Final.

However his relatively poor showing has not put off potentisal suitors and at a
 press conference German champions Bremen revealed that they are keen to sign t
he 24-year-old.

At the press conference general-manager Klaus Allofs said that the club had ear
marked Kleberson as a possible replacement for Johan Micoud, the Frenchman curr
ently stalling over signing a new deal.

United, though, are unlikely to sell Kleberson as his poor first season has bee
n largely put down to injury and, like Edu at Arsenal, he is expected to make a
 far greater impact in his second season.
