Manchester United have not given up the chase for midfielder Morten Gamst
Pedersen, but could wait until next year before making their move.

United have been monitoring the progress of the 22-year-old left-sided player
since losing out on Holland's Arjen Robben, but Pedersen has hinted that he is
in no hurry to leave current club Tromso in mid-season.

Old Trafford scout Geoff Watson saw Pedersen score his side's opening goal in
a 2-1 away win over Viking on Sunday and has told the Norwegian media: "We will
not rush with regards to Morten. We want to see him over time. We feel no
pressure now despite the fact that the window is open."
