席爾維斯特指球員傷患及代表國際賽不止影響了季前集訓，也同時影響曼聯新球季表現。

曼聯周中將會先出戰冠軍杯賽事，不過弗格森爵士已表明球隊要杜絕防守出錯。曼聯在聯
賽方面已因多次出錯令球隊連續賽和三場。

被問及防守失誤的原因，席爾維斯特回應：「我認為多個原因，例如是參與歐錦賽的球員
延遲歸隊、傷患問題，還有裡奧的停賽。」

「有多名球員缺陣下，備戰新球季有一定難度。我希望所有球員可以盡快歸隊。」

「我不知道解決的方法。如果我們找出問題的答案，就不會有這些錯誤。在球賽裡，如果
你希望取得入球，你會打出漂亮的足球。不過，對手通常都是憑犯錯來取得入球的。」

「我只知道己隊犯下太多錯誤，我們要正視這個問題。」

Silvestre: We Must Put Defensive Errors Right


Mikael Silvestre says pre-season preparations disrupted by injuries and
international absentees have hindered United's start to the new season.

The Reds put league matters on hold this week as they open their European
campaign. But Sir Alex Ferguson was clear that United needed to eradicate
the defensive mistakes that had led to three Premiership draws on the trot.

When asked about the root cause of the defensive errors, Mikael responded:
"I think it's a mix of a bit of everything; the late start of the players
involved in Euro 2004, the injuries, Rio's ban.

"It's not easy to prepare yourself for the season when you are missing so
many players. We hope to have everyone back as soon as we can.

"I don't know the solution, I don't have the answer. If we already had the
answer there would be no mistakes. In football, sometimes, if you want to
score goals, you play good football. But, goals to the other team normally
come from mistakes.

"All we know is that we have made too many mistakes up until now. And we
want to put that right."
