Tottenham striker Robbie Keane believes the critics have been wrong to write
off Manchester United so early in the season.
Injuries and suspensions ensured the Red Devils were slow out of the blocks but
manager Sir Alex Ferguson now has Ruud van Nistelrooy, Rio Ferdinand and
Gabriel Heinze ready to face Spurs on Saturday.
Monday's 2-1 defeat of Liverpool, in which Ferdinand returned after an
eight-month ban for missing a drugs test, has given United a platform on which
to build.
Next up is White Hart Lane on Saturday, and Keane said: "You can see they are a
stronger team now than they were at the start of the season.
"They were awesome against Liverpool. They were absolutely brilliant, back to
their best and they will always be up there with the players they have.
"We've played some tough games already this season, but United are always
difficult to play against, although with the way both teams are playing right
now it's a game to look forward to."
