this week with a back problem.
Younes Kaboul returns after suspension and but fellow defenders Ledley King
and Jonathan Woodgate are still out.
Manchester United welcome back Wayne Rooney and Nemanja Vidic after the pair
sat out the FA Cup win over Liverpool, and Paul Scholes may also return.
Tomasz Kuszczak will continue in goal as Edwin van der Sar is still
struggling with a flu virus.

MATCH PREVIEW
- When Tottenham ended the 2000/01 season on a jubilant high with a 3-1
victory over Manchester United, Ryan Giggs shrugged off defeat knowing a
seventh Premier League winners' medal was already safely in his trophy
cabinet.
- A decade on, the Welsh winger will make his 600th league appearance in United
colours with his place as the most decorated player in the history of English
football secure, and his form still as resplendent as ever.
- Little did Tottenham know that after a further 23 fixtures against United
they would not have enjoyed a single victory. Spurs can rightly point to
being on the end of some woeful refereeing decisions in that time, but the
gap in class between the two sides over the last 10 years has been vast.
- This season though, Spurs have finally emerged as a genuine force, and
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson knows protecting his side's unbeaten
record this season faces a stern test at White Hart Lane.
- Historically, this fixture has always been viewed as one of the most exciting
and eagerly anticipated of the season. It has been too one-sided of late, but
Spurs look like they may finally be able to fight the fire of the Red Devils.

Tottenham were left aggrieved by refereeing decisions in their defeat by
Manchester United at Old Trafford in October, and Spurs goalkeeper Heurelho
Gomes is probably still losing sleep over the way Nani scored after he had
rolled the ball out thinking he had a free-kick.
But Spurs still gave it a real go in that game and, especially at White Hart
Lane, they are capable of giving any side a real defensive examination. I
know United have not lost in the Premier League all season but I think their
unbeaten record will end here.
Tottenham will throw everything at them and, seeing as he has spent the week
training with Spurs, you can probably throw in the David Beckham-factor as
being a big plus for them as well - not that he is likely to play, but just
because he has been around the place.
Spurs are certainly in touch with the sides at the top of the table, but I
cannot see them winning the title. We saw against Everton last week that they
have one or two shortcomings defensively. Going forward they are absolutely
brilliant but at the back they are not strong enough to win the title.
