Measured Scholes-like pass was root of United's fourth! Nothing else to do
as a keeper

Patrice Evra - 6
Easily on top of the Bentley threat and had some decent attacks himself

Chris Smalling - 7
Birmingham didn't offer much to test him but what he was asked to do was
done with ease

John O'Shea - 7
Eased back into it with a solid enough return to starting action for the
first time since November

Nemanja Vidic - 7
This was an easy afternoon for someone enjoying the formidable form he is
showing

Anderson - 8
Non-stop bundle of energy who kept Reds ticking over at high tempo

Michael Carrick - 6
Early tackle from Hleb left him limping before he was taken off after 24
minutes

Ryan Giggs - 7
55 minutes largely of old time Giggs with a key hand in three of United's
four goals

Had Brum on back foot all the time. Not everything came off but goal was a
beauty

Early second half miss summed up his goal torment but key role in three goals
