month out with a hamstring injury.
Blues defender Liam Ridgewell is available after missing City's last match
through illness.
Manchester United winger Nani is expected to return from a hip problem, but
Park Ji-Sung has departed to play for South Korea in the Asian Cup.
Paul Scholes remains out, while there are doubts over Darren Fletcher (heavy
cold) and John O'Shea (calf).

MATCH PREVIEW
- Having reached Christmas unbeaten for the first time in their history,
Manchester United will now be concentrating on extending that run into the
new year.
- A visit to struggling Birmingham should hold no fears for United, who have
not lost to the Blues in their last 23 meetings.
- The home side should be a little fresher, given their game at Everton was
postponed. But while Birmingham's players put their feet up on Boxing Day,
the Red Devils barely broke sweat against Sunderland, with manager Sir Alex
Ferguson admitting his side were only in "third gear" at times.
- Birmingham's last victory over Manchester United was back in 1978, the same
year that Sir Alex took over at Aberdeen, advising a young defender named
Alex McLeish to give up his accountancy studies and focus on a career in
football instead.
- The pair remain close, with McLeish consulting his mentor before quitting
Scotland to take charge of Birmingham in 2007. But with the Blues hovering
around the relegation zone there will be no room for friendly sentiment at
St Andrew's on Tuesday evening.

Birmingham have not played for over two weeks so they are rested and their
home form is very good.
St Andrews is a tough place to go but I thought Manchester United looked like
a really top team for half an hour against Sunderland.
Their movement and the passing was marvellous so I'd fancy them to beat Alex
McLeish's side.
