費迪南德有望及時康復參加新賽季首場對紐卡斯爾的英超比賽。
俱樂部發言人告訴曼聯官網，費迪南德大約會缺陣10周，這是從他受傷時開始計算
，他是在6月4日在南非參加訓練時受傷的。
這意味著費迪南德應該能在8月13日康復，這剛好在曼聯迎戰紐卡斯爾的首輪英超的
前一天。
如果費迪南德無法參加對喜鵲的比賽，那麼他應該能在之後的週末做客富勒姆或者
第3輪主場對西漢姆的比賽復出。

Rio Ferdinand could be fit for the opening day of the 2010/11 league season,
contrary to some press reports that he faces several months on the sidelines.
A club spokesperson told ManUtd.com that a ten-week absence has been
estimated for the defender, dating back to when his injury was sustained, in
pre-World Cup training on Friday 4 June.
