曼聯現在準備要跟Rooney談續約的事了，不過這事不急

Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that the club are keen to open talks with
Wayne Rooney about extending his contract, insisting he wants the United
striker to remain at Old Trafford "for a lifetime."
Rooney himself had earlier stated his intention to sign an extension to
his current deal which runs until 2010. And his manager is hoping the
Reds can get something tied up in the coming months.
"It's something David [Gill] and I have already discussed because we all
want Wayne to stay here for a lifetime," revealed Sir Alex. "He's a
fantastic footballer who has the energy, enthusiasm and desire to become
a top player.
"We have some other young players like that and what we've always tried
to do is make sure that the contract situation is always on the positive
side for us. We did it with Ronaldo last season and we did it with young
Rossi in the summer when he signed a new contract.
"We'll continue to do that because we have a good young group of players
that we want to keep together for a long time. Wayne is without question
part of that," added the Reds' boss.
United's chief executive David Gill echoed Sir Alex's sentiments but
refused to put a deadline on the talks.
"It's in our plans to speak to Wayne but we're not going to put a deadline
on it," declared Gill. "At the moment we're concentrating on this transfer
window and other matters.
"Nevertheless, the fact that Wayne has indicated he extend his contract
is very positive. I'm sure we'll sit down and sort something out; it's
in our interests and his to do that."

上週末魯尼就曾袒露心聲希望能夠延長與曼聯的合同，甚至一直踢到退役，在昨天特
裡當選英格蘭隊長後，小傢伙又一臉羨慕地表示希望自己有天也能帶上曼聯甚至英格蘭的
隊長袖標，於是，弗格森和總裁吉爾馬上打鐵趁熱地宣稱，俱樂部將很快會滿足魯尼的願
望，給他續簽一份更長的合同。
魯尼目前的合同已經簽到了2010年夏天，但在小傢伙和曼聯俱樂部的眼中，這顯然還
不足夠。自從兩年前從埃弗頓轉會到曼聯以後，魯尼迅速成長為球隊不可缺少的進攻核心
，在老帥弗格森的眼中，魯尼、小小羅等這些20歲左右的年輕球員將是曼聯未來5年甚至
10年的中流砥柱，在狠心放逐范尼後，魯尼在新賽季自然要擔負起更重的任務，在軟硬兼
施將小小羅拉回來後，蘇格蘭老頭更恨不得用鎖鏈將少不更事的魯尼拷在老特拉福德，想
不到小傢伙居然很自覺地發表了永遠效忠的誓言，弗格森自然大喜過望。
蘇格蘭老帥說：「我們希望韋恩-魯尼能永遠留在老特拉福德球場，他是一個非常出
色的球員，他能量充沛對冠軍充滿渴望，並且希望永遠保持一流的競技狀態。我們還有一
幫這樣的年輕球員，我們也希望他們能夠長時間地留在這裡，毫無疑問，韋恩將是我們未
來計劃的重要組成部分，我非常開心看到他表示希望能夠永遠留在這裡。」
曼聯首席執行官大衛-吉爾也表示俱樂部已經在準備和魯尼就延長合同進行談判，不
過一切都要在夏季轉會窗口關閉之後才能開展，因為球隊目前最重要的事情是引進新的球
員：「我們已經有計劃要和魯尼續簽合同，不過這將是我們內部的事情，我們不會限定在
什麼時候完成，任何希望和球隊續約的球員都將有機會坐下來談談，不過現在我們更重要
的任務是在轉會窗口關閉前引進其他球員。」
不過，魯尼的事情並不是都不重要，英格蘭足總方面已經確認，他們已經收到了曼聯
快馬加鞭遞上來的申訴報告，目的是要為魯尼和斯科爾斯在荷蘭熱身賽吃到的紅牌申訴。
按照法定程序，如果這兩名曼聯球員一旦被處以3場比賽的禁賽，停賽將從8月23日星期三
，也就是英足總收到荷蘭裁判報告14天後開始生效，也就是說，無論如何魯尼和斯科爾斯
都不會錯過新賽季英超的首場比賽，不過，曼聯方面顯然希望更進一步，而英格蘭足總則
會在仔細研究曼聯遞上的書面申訴及其他證據後，最終在下周正式宣佈魯尼和斯科爾斯的
處罰決定。
