Real Madrid and Manchester United are refusing to comment on mounting
speculation linking Ruud van Nistelrooy with a transfer to the Spanish
giants.
Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf claims the 30-year-old has agreed terms and
the two clubs must now agree a price.
Van Nistelrooy's agent Rodger Linse said: "Ruud hopes to state his new
club before returning to training with Manchester United on 24 July."
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is holding a news conference on Friday.
The conference, in South Africa ahead of United's pre-season tour, will
surely see the Scot asked about the speculation.
Van Nistelrooy found first-team chances hard to come by in the second
half of last season and rumours of a rift with Ferguson grew when the
Dutch striker left the ground before United's last game.
The stumbling block to Van Nistelrooy's move could be the fee.
Real are thought to be ready to offer ￡10m, but United are reported
to want ￡15m.
However, the news that Brazilian striker Ronaldo will miss the start of
the season as he recovers from knee surgery could force the Spanish club's
hand.
Van Nistelrooy was a ￡19m signing from PSV Eindhoven in 2001 and has

荷蘭第一綜合報《電訊報》稱，范尼已經和皇馬達成了口頭加盟協議，合同期限為
三年。目前，皇馬和曼聯只差一些細節還需要談判。
《電訊報》還透露說，曼聯方面給范尼報出的轉會費為1500萬歐元。這剛好跟《馬
卡報》所透露的數字相一致，也意味著價碼談攏後雙方很快就會宣佈轉會完成。但是，
也有英格蘭媒體稱，曼聯的開價是1500萬英鎊，雙方正在這個問題上相互扯皮。
在接受《電訊報》採訪時，范尼的經紀人林塞基本肯定了范尼將離開曼聯，但至於
「下家」他卻不肯透露口風，「范尼尊重曼聯，目前我們還不便對轉會發表看法。他會
在7月24日返回曼聯集訓前，公佈他的新東家。」
相比小小羅，曼聯名宿博比-查爾頓對范尼的前途也無把握。他在接受《天空體育》
採訪時說：「我們已經很多次說過，小小羅是非賣品。而范尼無論做什麼決定都要向弗
格森匯報，總之放走隊裡最好的球員不是曼聯的傳統。」
