Man Utd stand firm over Ruud fee

Manager Sir Alex Ferguson insists that Manchester United will hold out for
what they believe is the right fee for want-away striker Ruud van Nistelrooy.

United are believed to be demanding at least ￡15m for the 30-year-old, who
has handed in a written transfer request.

曼聯認為范尼的轉會費至少必須在一千五百萬!!!!!英磅左右。

Real Madrid have made an improved offer of ￡10.3m and Bayern Munich are also
in the running.

皇馬已經開出了一千零三十萬英鎊的價碼，拜仁也正在運作。

"We know our value. If we are going to sell Ruud we should get the proper
 value," Ferguson told MUTV.

"我們知道行情。如果我們要把范尼賣掉，我們理應取得合理的利潤。"

Breaking News: Real Agree Ruud Deal

Real Madrid and Manchester United have agreed on a 15 million Euro deal,
latest reports coming out of Spain suggest.

Real Madrid had made a 15 million Euro offer yesterday, which Manchester
United have accepted, despite earlier indications that they were planning
to hold out for a higher sum.

The Dutch international, 30, will arrive in Madrid this evening, and is
set to sign a three year deal worth 15 million Euros after tomorrow's medical.

Reports suggest that Manchester United wanted at least 17 million, but
gave the green light in order to prevent this from dragging along
unnecessarily, that with Ruud returning to training in the meanwhile.

  Jol plots to hijack Van

  TOTTENHAM have moved to hijack Ruud van Nistelrooy’s switch to Real Madrid
  by using Michael Carrick as bait.

  Spurs manager Martin Jol wants the Manchester United striker PLUS around
  ￡10million in cash for Carrick.

  Last night, it emerged the England midfielder had rejected a ￡45,000-a-week
  deal to stay at White Hart Lane.

  And Tottenham are now willing to sell him in a bid to pip Real to Van
  Nistelrooy.

  The Spanish giants have already responded to Spurs’ interest by making an
  increased offer of ￡10.25m for the 30-year-old Dutchman.

  But that still falls well short of United’s ￡15m valuation and Tottenham
  have a tempting alternative for Old Trafford chief Alex Ferguson.

  Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is fiercely ambitious and will offload Carrick,
  25 tomorrow, in return for a hitman who can guarantee 20 goals a season.
